The Prather War Bowie's blade is a massive 7 inches long and a nearly unbreakable 1/4 inch thick. The overall length is 12 5/8 inches, allowing a generous grip that accommodates large or gloved hands, and TOPS Knives' Rocky Mountain Tread handle scales keep a secure hold in wet or cold conditions.
The Bowie's classic sweep and forward balance point make it a natural for chopping, batoning, and heavy camp work. The dropped blade forms an integral guard that keeps your fingers from sliding forward onto the edge.
Thumb grooves on the spine add extra control for fine cuts, and a sharpening groove at the base of the edge makes it easier to sharpen in the field. It comes with a black nylon sheath with a front pocket and MOLLE webbing on the back.
Designed by Jeff Prather and built on his decades of experience in the field, the War Bowie is a large, hard-use camp and field knife made to last.
