Accessibility
At BattlBox we believe the outdoors are for everyone, and that includes our website. Our goal is for every customer to be able to find information and complete a purchase on battlbox.com, whatever device or assistive technology they use.
Our standard
We have adopted the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1, Level AA, as the accessibility standard for battlbox.com, and we work to keep the site in substantial conformance with it.
What we do
- Every month we run an automated accessibility audit of every page template on the site, at desktop and mobile widths, together with a keyboard navigation test of the header, menus, search, cart and checkout entry points.
- Every issue found is recorded with the date it was first detected, who owns the fix, and the date it was verified as resolved by a later audit.
- Fixes to the site's theme are made by our development partner from that record. Content fixes such as image descriptions are made directly.
- Where a component is provided by a third-party vendor (for example site search, our rewards program or promotional messages), we document the issue and work with the vendor to resolve it.
Last audit: November 3, 2026. Audits before 2026 were performed twice a year by our development partner.
