BattlBox Exclusive Hatchet by Doug Marcaida

Take on camp chores with the BattlBox Exclusive Hatchet by Doug Marcaida, a compact hatchet with a 1065 carbon steel head and a black glass fiber handle. At about 10 inches long, it is sized to fit in a pack or vehicle kit without crowding everything else. A fitted black glass fiber sheath covers the edge between uses.

The 1065 carbon steel head is 5mm thick and carries an edge of about 2.95 inches, with a spread of roughly 7 7/8 inches across the head. That thickness gives it a sturdy build for splitting kindling, trimming limbs, and general camp work.

On its own the hatchet weighs about 492 grams, and the sheath adds about 150 grams. The set arrives in a gift box, so it is ready to hand off as a gift or put straight into your camp gear.
