Dark Energy Spectre Solar Panel - Orange - 8W

Keep your phone and power bank charged on the trail with the Dark Energy Spectre 8W Solar Panel in Orange, a foldable panel for day hikes and overnights. The bright frame is easy to spot, and the panel clips to the outside of a pack so it collects sunlight while you walk.

Spectre delivers 8 watts of total output through a USB-C port and a USB-A port on the controller, so a phone, headlamp, or battery can charge straight from the panel. A built-in sun efficiency meter sensor shows how well the panel is lined up with the sun, which helps you find the best angle and get a faster charge. Pair it with a battery such as the Poseidon Nano to store power for the evening.

Dark Energy reports that the Spectre has survived temperatures down to -25°F, drops from more than 25 feet, a heavy rain storm, and 500 pounds of force. Snap closures hold the panel shut, and it folds down to 9.25 by 8.9 inches (23.49 by 22.54 cm), only 0.75 inches (1.9 cm) thick. Unfolded, the two-panel layout opens to 16.25 inches (41.28 cm) of solar surface, enough to prop on a tent fly or a rock at your lunch stop.
