ESEE Libertariat, Made in USA

$189.99

Description

Chop through the brush with the ESEE Libertariat, a tropical-survival machete designed by John Armstrong for Expat Knives, a division of ESEE. Built for bushcrafters, hunters, and remote-travel users, the Libertariat returned to production by popular demand and is now proudly made in the USA. Whether you are clearing trail, splitting kindling, or processing tropical brush, this blade is purpose-built for the long walk into hot, wet country.

The 9 inch blade is forged from SAE 1095 carbon steel, an alloy long favored for machetes thanks to its toughness, edge-holding, and ease of resharpening in the field. A 90 degree ground spine doubles as a ferro-rod striker for instant fire-starting at camp, and a draw-knife hole supports two-handed control for fine carving and feathersticking. The classic convex Condor Edge profile holds up to repeated heavy chopping without chipping.

Micarta handle scales lock the grip in even with sweaty palms, and the proportions are tuned for the kind of all-day swing tropical work demands. A tan canvas sheath ships with the blade for safe carry on a pack or belt. Practical, rugged, and "tried and true," the Libertariat is a no-compromise machete for the user who wants a versatile chopper for jungle, woodlot, or backyard kitchen prep.
