Carry a folder that never needs sharpening with the Outdoor Edge Razor VX2. The RazorSafe replaceable-blade system swaps a dull edge for a factory-sharp one in seconds with a push of the release button, which makes this the right knife for the jobs that eat edges: field dressing, cardboard, cordage, tape, and everything else that would otherwise send a traditional blade back to the stones.

The 3.0 inch blade is Japanese 420J2 stainless, carried in a frame of vented stainless steel liners with textured black G10 scales over the top. Spring Assist Pivot technology throws the blade open fast and smooth off the thumb stud, and the liner lock holds it there. Two plain edge drop points and one 50 percent serrated drop point ship in the box.

At 7.3 inches open and 3.5 oz, the VX2 rides light, and the reversible deep carry pocket clip sets up for right or left hand without a trip to the toolbox.
