Cover the first 72 hours of a power outage, storm, or evacuation with one grab-and-go bag that is already packed. The Grid-Down 72 Hour Preparedness Kit puts ten pieces of field-tested gear into a 30L dry bag sized to live in a hall closet, truck bed, or camp bin, so the essentials sit in one place when the lights go out. It is built for households that want a real starting kit without shopping for it item by item.
Information and water come first. The Midland ER210 runs on a hand crank, its solar panel, or a rechargeable battery, pulls NOAA weather alerts, and doubles as a flashlight and phone charger. Two emergency water straws let two people drink straight from a stream or rain barrel. Fire gets three layers: Hot Snot fire gel, 25 Zippo Typhoon windproof and waterproof matches, and a Halt emergency fire blanket for knocking down a small kitchen or fire pit flare-up.
The Rockagator PYRE pouch keeps passports, insurance papers, and a spare phone in one fire-resistant, signal-blocking sleeve. MicroMend closes a cut without stitches, the XML-T6 flashlight throws a zoomable beam, and 100 feet of Atwood 550 paracord handles tarp lines, splints, and lashing. Everything rides in the BattlBox 30L roll-top dry bag, which keeps paperwork and electronics dry whether the kit sits in a flooded basement or the back of a truck in a downpour.
